Hello guys š
Iām back with another chapter⦠but this one is a little different š
Here is Chapter 11 of Forbidden Love ā Devotion of Innocent Hearts
Happy reading š
Authorās POV
Yesterday-
It was night.
The world outside had gone quiet.
Soft breeze was coming through the window, moving the curtains slowly.
Inside her roomā
Kashvi was sitting on her bed, her diary in her hands.
The same diaryā
Where she writes everything she feels.
Everything she hides.
She opened it slowlyā¦
And started reading what she wrote before.....
Kashviās POV
āPehli baar unhe dekha thaā¦
Woh humari zindagi me kuch iss tarah roshni banke aayeā¦
Jaha pehle sirf andhera hi andhera thaā¦ā
Sirf ek jhalak dekhi thi unkiā¦
Pehle laga bas aise hi⦠bewajah⦠yun hi soch rahi hoon.
Lekin dheere dheereā
Woh ek aadat ban gaye.
Bina raheā¦
Humare paas.
Humari zindagi me shamil ho gaye.
Saanvi ke baadā¦
Ab woh hi hai mere liye.
Lekin ajeeb baat yeh haiā
Mujhe unka naam tak nahi pata.
Kaha rehte haiā¦
Kaun haiā¦
Kuch bhi nahi.
Toh yeh diaryā¦
Sirf aur sirf unke liye likh rahi hoon.
Yeh soch karā¦
Ki yeh diary hi woh hai.
Sun rahe haiā¦
Samajh rahe haiā¦
Bas unhe samajh kar likh rahi hoon.
Aur agar kabhiā
Mujhe woh mil gayeā¦
Toh yeh diary unhe hi dungi.
Taki woh jaan sakeā
Woh mere liye kya hai.
Lekin shuruwat meā
Unhe mere baare me bhi toh jaana chahiye na?
Toh shuruwat se batati hoonā¦
Mere liye Saanvi se zyada aur koi nahi.
Aap jab yeh padh rahe hongeā
Aapke mann me yeh sawal aayegaā
Mummy? Papa? Gharwale?
Kyun nahi?
Kyukiā
Meri zarurat unhe kabhi thi hi nahi.
Main⦠unwanted thi.
Unhe kabhi chahiye hi nahi thi.
Lekin afsosā
Ab hai.
Aur sabse badi hoon naā¦
Toh sab dekhna padta hai.
Aapko pata haiā
Main depression me thi.
Lekin tab bhiā
Gharwalon ne kabhi dhyan nahi diya.
Sabko lagaā
Main drama kar rahi hoon.
Kisi ne samjha hi nahi.
Lekinā¦
Mere paas uss waqt meri Saanvi thi.
Humesha thi.
Kuch bhi ho jaayeā
Woh thi.
Mere liye sab kuch hai woh....
Tab mujhe samajh aayaā
Har kisi ke paas aise gharwale nahi hoteā¦
Jo unhe samjhe.
Toh maine bhiā
Umeed rakhna chhod diya.
Abhi ke liyeā
Mere baare me itna hi.
So.....,
Jis din se aapko dekhaā¦
Ussi din se⦠main aapki ho gayi thi.
Bas realise karne me thoda time laga.
Lekinā
Bohot khush hoon.
Lekin Rona bohot aata thaā¦
Aapko dekhne ka bohot mann karta thaā¦
Lekin kya karuā
Mujhe kabhi pata hi nahi chalaā
Aap kaha rehte ho.
Raat ko sone ke waqtā
Main aapse baatein karti thi.
Jaise aap mere paas hoā¦
Sun rahe hoā¦
Samajh rahe hoā¦
Iss tarah seā
Maine pure 2 saal nikaal diye.
Aapke liyeā
Prarthana karne lagi.
Bhagwan seā¦
Aapko maine apni prarthanaon me rakha.
Maha Shivratri ke dinā
Main sirf aur sirf aapke liye fast rakhti thi.
Aur yeh sabā
Sirf ek jhalak ke baad.
Aur isi intezaar meā
Ki aap phir miloge.
Aapko bataungiā
Ki maine 2 saal intezaar kiya.
Phirā
Woh din aaya.
Jab aap phir dikheā¦
Class me.
Aur jaise hi maine aapko dekhaā
Meri aankhon me aansu aa gaye the.
Lekin fir bhiā
Maine khud ko sambhalaā¦
Ab ke liye⦠itna hi.
Author pov-
They walked back to the classroomā
As if nothing had changed.
But somewhere insideā
Everything had.
They all went inside.
The class was already settled.
The teacher was explaining everything about the electionā
Rules, responsibilities, and how the selection process would go.
Everyone was listening carefully.
After a few minutesā
She said,
āJinhone bhi apna naam diya hai, woh sab apne helping partners ke saath staff room me aajayein.ā
(Whoever has submitted their names should come to the staff room with their helping partners.)
As soon as she said thatā
Students started looking at each other, forming groups.
Hereā
At Kashviās groupā
Confusion started.
Ishvik said,
āAb kaun kaun jaa raha hai?ā
Aarohi replied,
āHelping partner bhi chahiye⦠toh decide karo jaldi.ā
Saanvi looked at Netrabhan,
āObviously hum log toh iske saath jayenge.ā
Ishvik nodded,
āHaan main bhi.ā
Aarohi said,
āMain bhi chal rahi hoon.ā
So finallyā
Saanvi, Aarohi, and Ishvik decided to go with Netrabhan.
Then Saanvi turned toward Kashvi,
āTu aa rahi hai na?ā
Before Kashvi could replyā
She slightly held her head.
āNahi⦠tu ja. Main thoda rest kar leti hoon.ā
Her voice was soft.
Eshaan noticed and said,
āMain rukta hoon.ā
Kashvi looked at him,
āNahi aap jao naā¦ā
But he shook his head,
āTheek hai, main yahin hoon.ā
Saanvi looked at Kashvi carefullyā
She knew.
Kashvi wasnāt completely fine yet.
So she said,
āTheek hai⦠tu rest kar. Hum jaldi aate hain.ā
Netrabhan didnāt say anything.
But before leavingā
He glanced at Kashvi once.
Just one look.
To check if she was okay.
Kashvi noticed itā
But didnāt say anything.
Soonā
Netrabhan, Saanvi, Aarohi, and Ishvik left for the staff room.
And in the classroomā
Only a few students were left.
Includingā
Kashvi and Eshaan.
A quiet silence settled againā
But this timeā
It felt a little heavier.
Because somewhereā
Both of them were thinking about different people.
And different feelingsā
They still didnāt understand.
ā„
In the classroomā
A quiet silence surrounded them.
Kashvi was resting slightly, while Eshaan sat beside herā
But his mindā¦
Was somewhere else.
On someone else.
He kept thinkingā¦
Should he ask?
Or not?
After hesitating for a long timeā
He finally gathered courage.
āEk baat puchun?ā
Kashvi looked at him and said calmly,
āHaan pucho.ā
Eshaan quickly added,
āKuch aise waise mat sochnaā¦ā
Kashvi raised her eyebrow slightly,
āKyu? Aisa kya puchne wale ho aap?ā
He said nervously,
āBas⦠kuch jaana hai.ā
Kashvi looked at him knowingly and said,
āKuch jaana hai⦠ya kisi ke baare me jaana hai?ā
Eshaan got a little awkward,
āHuhhā¦ā
Kashvi smiled slightly,
āSaanvi ke baare me jaana hai na?ā
He looked surprised,
āTumhe kaise pata?ā
Kashvi shrugged lightly,
āBas aise hi⦠pucho, kya jaana hai?ā
Eshaan said without thinking,
āSab kuch.ā
Kashvi repeated softly,
āSab kuch?ā
āHaan⦠sab kuch.ā
There was a small pause.
Then Kashvi said,
āToh shuru se batati hoonā¦ā
Eshaan nodded,
āHaan.ā
Kashvi took a small breath and beganā
āSaanvi ki mummy nahi haiā¦ā
Eshaanās expression changed.
Kashvi continued,
āAunty ka delivery time chal raha tha⦠Saanvi ka bhai hua⦠aur uske kuch time baad hi aunty nahi rahi.ā
Eshaan listened silently.
āUske baad se Saanvi⦠bilkul chup ho gayi. Kuch bolti bhi nahi thi. Puri badal gayi thi.ā
He asked softly,
āTumhe kaise pata?ā
Kashvi replied,
āHum log waha aaye the⦠tab maine usse dekha.ā
She paused for a secondā
Then said slowly,
āAapko pata hai⦠woh royi bhi nahi thi.ā
Eshaan looked shocked.
āLekin⦠jab main uske paas gayiā¦ā
Her voice softened,
āTab woh royi⦠itna royi ki woh behosh ho gayi thi.ā
āKya?ā Eshaan whispered.
āHaan.ā
Kashvi nodded slightly.
āUske baad⦠Saanvi ke papa ka transfer bhi humare papa ke saath hi hota raha. Hum log ek hi jagah rehte aaye hai.ā
She smiled faintly,
āTab se⦠main aur woh hamesha saath rahe.ā
āHumne ek dusre ko sambhala hai.ā
āHume dosti ka matlab bhi nahi pata tha⦠lekin hum usse pehle se ek dusre ke liye sab kuch hai.ā
Eshaan was just listeningā
Completely focused.
Kashvi continued,
āWoh apne emotions easily nahi dikhati.ā
āAur haan⦠bhagwan par bhi yakeen nahi karti.ā
Then she added softly,
āAur woh jaisi dikhti hai na⦠waisi hai nahi.ā
āPehle bohot shararti thi⦠lekin ab badal gayi hai.ā
Kashvi smiled slightly remembering,
āWoh hamesha bolti haiā āKashvi, hume kisi ki zarurat nahi hai. Hum dono hi kaafi hai ek dusre ke liye.āā
She looked at Eshaan and said,
āAur woh sahi bolti hai⦠hum dono kaafi hai.ā
She finished.
Silence.
Eshaan didnāt say anything.
He was just⦠processing everything.
At that exact momentā
The classroom door opened.
And the remaining four entered.
Saanvi came forward and asked,
āKya baat ho rahi hai? Hume bhi batao.ā
Kashvi immediately replied casually,
āKuch bhi toh nahi⦠bas aise hi.ā
Butā
On the other sideā
Eshaan wasnāt listening to them anymore.
He was just looking at Saanvi.
Nowā
Not with confusion.
But with something deeper.
Something more understanding.
Something⦠softer.
źā Ā
After thatā
Everything felt⦠normal.
At least from the outside.
They all sat together for some time, talking randomly, laughing, teasing each otherā
As if nothing serious had just been discussed.
But insideā
A lot had changed.
Soonā
The last bell rang.
It was time to go home.
Everyone started packing their bags.
Ishvik stretched his arms,
āFinally⦠chhutti!ā
Aarohi rolled her eyes,
āJaise poora din kaam kiya ho.ā
Saanvi laughed lightly, while Kashvi just smiled softly.
They all got up and started walking toward the gate together.
At the gateā
They stopped.
One by oneā
Everyone started saying goodbye.
Aarohi said,
āKal milte hai.ā
Ishvik added,
āAur haan⦠kal se campaign start karna hai, Mr. Head Boy.ā
He looked at Netrabhan teasingly.
Eshaan smirked slightly,
āHaan⦠tayari rakho.ā
Netrabhan just nodded calmly,
āHmm.ā
Meanwhileā
Saanvi turned toward Kashvi,
āTu seedha ghar jaa⦠aur rest kar. Samjhi?ā
Kashvi nodded softly,
āHaan baba⦠jaa rahi hoon.ā
Then she smiled,
āTu bhi dhyaan rakhna.ā
Saanvi lightly hit her arm,
āMujhe mat sikha.ā
Both smiled.
One by oneā
They all started leaving.
But before goingā
Kashvi and Netrabhanā
Once againā
Shared a look.
No words.
Just eyes.
For a few secondsā
Everything went silent for them.
Thenā
Kashvi looked away first.
And turned to leave.
ā¢||ā¢
Eshaan was watching all this quietly.
Then he looked at Saanviā
Who was talking to Aarohi.
And for the first timeā
He wasnāt just seeing her.
He was understanding her.
Slowlyā
Everyone left for their homes.
Different paths.
Different thoughts.
But one thing was sameā
No one was the same anymore.
Because nowā
It wasnāt just friendship.
Something deeper had startedā
Without anyone realizing it fully.
āā į“„ā ā
After reaching homeā
Aarohi freshened up and then her mother came into her room
So, She sat beside her mother, resting her head lightly on her shoulder.
Then suddenlyā
She said in a slightly irritated tone,
āMumma yaar⦠main bolu na toh yeh Ishvik sach me pagal hai!ā
Her mother looked at her, amused.
Aarohi continued,
āHumesha ladta rehta hai⦠humesha chedta rehta hai. Main kitni baar try karti hoon usse ache se baat karu⦠lekin nahi! Usse toh mujhse ladne me hi maza aata hai.ā
Her mother couldnāt stop herselfā
She laughed.
āMujhe toh yakeen hi nahi hota⦠koi aise bhi baat karta hai kya?ā
Then she added teasingly,
āMujhe aaj bhi yaad hai⦠kaise tu mere paas aayi thi aur bataya tha Ishvik ke baare me⦠kaise tujhe woh pasand hai.ā
Aarohi rolled her eyes slightly but smiled,
āHaan toh mumma⦠woh aaj bhi pasand hai.ā
Then she made a small face,
āLekin uski harkatein hi aisi hai!ā
Her mother smiled warmly and said,
āPata nahi kab tak aise chhupa ke rakhegi⦠jaake bata de usse.ā
Aarohi immediately shook her head,
āNahi mumma⦠abhi nahi.ā
Her mother nodded,
āTheek hai, teri marzi. Main neeche ja rahi hoon, khane ka bhi dekhna hai.ā
Aarohi nodded.
Her mother left.
Nowā
Her room was quiet.
Aarohi lay down on her bedā¦
Staring at the ceiling.
And slowlyā
Her thoughts went back.
To the first time she saw him.
At school.
How he annoyed herā¦
Teased herā¦
Fought with herā
For no reason.
And stillā
She smiled thinking about it.
Because somewhereā
She liked it.
She liked him.
From the very beginning.
But she never said anything.
Because she was scared.
Scared of losing what they already had.
Their friendship.
So she kept everything inside.
And nowā
Every time he irritated herā¦
Every time he annoyed herā¦
All she could do wasā
Think about him.
Only him.

Eshaan Pov -
At night
Everything felt normal.
Dinner with family⦠usual talks⦠usual silence.
But insideā
Nothing was normal.
After dinnerā
I went to my room.
Switched off the lights.
And lay down on my bed.
Closing my eyesā
Trying to sleep.
Butā¦
Sleep wasnāt coming.
I turned to one side.
Then the other.
But the moment I closed my eyesā
Her face appeared.
Saanvi.
The way she talksā¦
The way she arguesā¦
The way she doesnāt care what others thinkā¦
And todayā
The things I got to know about her.
Her past.
Her pain.
Her strength.
āYeh mujhe kya ho raha haiā¦?ā I whispered to myself.
Why am I thinking about her so much?
Why her?
I sat up on my bed.
Running my hand through my hair in frustration.
āBas ek din me itna sab kaiseā¦?ā
Morning tak sab normal tha.
Aur abā
Sab kuch alag lag raha hai.
Her words echoed in my mindā
āMaa ke jaane ke baadā¦ā
āUsne mujhe sambhalaā¦ā
āWoh apne emotions nahi dikhatiā¦ā
I closed my eyes tightly.
āItna sab akele kaise handle kiya hoga usneā¦?ā
A strange heaviness filled my chest.
Not pity.
Not sympathy.
Something else.
Something deeper.
And thenā
I rememberedā¦
That moment.
When she bumped into me.
How she was about to shoutā
But stopped.
The way she looked at me.
And howā¦
I couldnāt stop looking at her.
I opened my eyes again.
Staring at the ceiling.
āJab bhi woh paas hoti haiā¦ā
I paused.
āMera heartbeat fast kyu ho jata haiā¦?ā
Silence.
I let out a small breath.
And whispered slowlyā
Almost like accepting something,
āKya⦠mujhe woh pasand hai?ā
The question hung in the air.
Unanswered.
I turned to my side again.
Closed my eyes.
This timeā
Not trying to stop the thoughts.
But letting them come.
And somewhereā
Between confusion and realizationā
I finally drifted into sleep.
With only one thought in my mindā
Saanvi.
Netrabhan Pov-
nightā¦
Everything outside was quiet.
But inside meā
nothing was quiet at all.
After reaching home, I followed my usual routine. I freshened up, after few hours had dinner with my family, and sat down to study. Everything looked normal from the outside.
But my mind⦠wasnāt there.
The words in front of me blurred.
I wasnāt reading anymore.
I was thinking.
About her.
Kashvi.
I closed my book slowly and leaned back, staring at the ceiling. I donāt even know when this started. Maybe the first time I saw her in class⦠or maybe today, when she said something so simpleā
āThatās how it isā¦ā
As if it meant nothing.
But to meā
it meant everything.
I ran my hand through my hair and sighed.
āThis is wrongā¦ā I whispered to myself.
But the more I said itā
the less convincing it sounded.
What exactly is wrong?
Her looking at me like that?
Or me⦠not being able to look away?
Or maybeā¦
this feeling⦠that I donāt even understand yet?
I donāt get it.
I was never like this. Iāve always stayed away from girls. Talking, getting close, all of thatāit was never my thing.
Everything was simple. Clear.
But nowā
nothing feels simple anymore.
When sheās aroundā
something feels different.
My heartbeat changes.
My thoughts disappear.
And when she looks at meā
it feels like I actually matter.
Like Iām⦠important.
And todayā
she said it out loud.
āYou areā¦ā
I shut my eyes tightly.
āHow can someone say something like that so easilyā¦?ā
Does she even understand what her words mean?
Or am I the only one overthinking this?
But thenā
I remember her eyes.
They donāt lie.
Her innocenceā¦
itās real.
And maybe thatās the problem.
She says what she feels.
And Iā¦
I donāt even understand what Iām feeling.
I lay down on my bed, staring at the ceiling.
In the garden todayā
when she came and asked,
āCan I sit⦠or is that wrong too?ā
At that momentā
I didnāt think.
I just said yes.
Why couldnāt I say no?
Why canāt I stay away from herā¦
even when I know I probably should?
Because if this is what I think it isā
Then it wonāt be simple.
Not at all.
I closed my eyes again.
And her face appeared.
That soft smileā¦
those confused expressionsā¦
that innocenceā¦
And when she gets shyā
her cheeks turn slightly pinkā¦
I smiled unconsciously.
āCrazy girlā¦ā
But the next secondā
I became serious again.
āAnd what about me?ā
What am I doing?
Is this just attraction?
Or something more?
And if it is something moreā
Then why?
How?
When did it even start?
Nothing is clear.
Except one thingā
She has become important.
So quickly⦠so easilyā¦
And that is exactly what scares me the most.
Because Iām not someone who gets attached.
I donāt get used to people.
But this timeā¦
Maybe I am.
Slowly.
Without even realizing it.
And thatā
Is what I donāt understand.
And thatās a wrap for this chapter!
Thankyou so much
Bye bye
